Tess Masonbrink, PMHNP

Tess Masonbrink, PMHNP

Hi. I'm Tess. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Alpine Telehealth. I have been working in psychiatry as a PNP for 14+ yrs. I have 5 degrees, with my Masters of Nursing Science from the University of Toledo. I love my work because it offers me the privilege of helping patients make a real difference in their lives. I am very open, attentive, and believe most patients can "captain their own ship." I'm just the "first mate," offering advice and guidance. I prefer to utilize a holistic approach to health care, assisting patients with positive adjustments in lifestyle changes such as exercise, diet, and sleep hygiene. I also utilize brief therapy techniques with each appointment to help patients set a navigational compass for health and happiness. I check for underlying causes for disease processes, through labs, imaging, or referrals as indicated, before prescribing medication for symptoms. If we find medication is the best direction to take, we will work together to select the appropriate option. I sincerely look forward to working with you on your health care journey!
